How It Works

• As the tyre rotates, the sealant spreads evenly over the inside surface. This is a mechanical process not a chemical reaction.
• Immediately a puncture occurs the air pressure in the tyre forces fibre particles and fillers suspended in the sealant to interlock, forming an airtight plug which prevents further air loss. This action is completed within 2-3 wheel rotations. It happens so fast that riders will often be unaware of the occurrence of a puncture.
• Later when a tyre is inspected, the cause of a puncture such as a nail can be safely removed. The turning of the wheels will allow product to cover the damage, therefore internal pressure will assist in forming the plug.

Installation

Installation is achieved via a commercial 20L pail, or self-insertion via a handheld bottle. Full instructions are given on the box / bottle.

1. With valve at 5 or 7 o’ clock, remove valve core with tool provided, deflating tyre.
2. Pull out telescopic tube and attach extension tube if required. (Motorbike will require extension tube).
3. Slide delivery tube over the valve.
4. With the bottle inverted, hold bottle so the tube and valve are as straight as possible and squeeze bottle.
5. Continue squeezing Bike-Seal through the valve. This may take several goes, until the required amount has been delivered.
6. Remove tube, clean spillage with damp cloth.
7. Replace valve core with tool provided, finger tight.

Re-inflate tyre to the manufacturer’s recommended pressures.
